DhiUhr, Take One!

This was just a quickie sketch that was done a short time ago as a foundation for what will probably be a future pin-up! It's Uhr from Incubus Tales, dressing up as Dhiar, complete with novelty horns and a tie-on tail! He is modelling in front of a full-length mirror, but he doesn't know Dhiar is watching from the door in utter delight and trying not to make noise so that he isn't noticed. Of course, Dhiar's clothes are a tad too big for such a small Uhr!

You can read Incubus Tales, of course, at http://incubustales.comicdish.com anytime!

Enjoy!

Bat-Strip!

You probably recognise today's sketch. I did it while reflecting that every time he met his supposed nemesis, Ra's al Ghul, it was always a homoerotic time. This was just taking it a very, very small step further than the comics, believe me!

Enjoy!

Incubus Tales Hawkye Costume Sketch

Today's sketch is one from my own series, Incubus Tales! You can read Incubus Tales online here.

This sketch was done in the planning stages of the story 'Family', which featured the amazing Hawkye L. Narasumas as a guest star. This was to plan his costume, because I wanted it to be iconic and also impactful. I wanted Hawkye to have as cool an appearance as possible, and yet also look impressive and elegant to some extent, powerful and refined.

Hawkye approved the overall look, and it was refined a bit more for the story. This was a very, very quick sketch, but I think it might be exciting for you to see some of the planning that goes on behind the scenes!

Enjoy!

Demony Mischief

I remember doing this sketch years ago, but I don't remember who it was for; I remember it was the friend of a friend (or at least, an acquaintance) but when I did it, I apparently took too many liberties with the colours and neglected to include some scars or tattoos or something that she forgot to tell me about. She ended up hating it, and so I was disappointed in general because I quite like how it turned out.

So perhaps you will enjoy it!

Tsumetai Hana

Another casual piece I did some time ago, this was all digital and was one of my first complete pieces to be done entirely digitally. It's named 'Tsumetai Hana', after a favourite song by the brilliant green. I hope you'll enjoy him!

Myron

Today's sketch is a picture from quite some time ago, back when Incubus Tales was at SmackJeeves.

...gosh, it seems like forever now. Even though I really just left there in May!

But anyway, I was trying to be a part of the community, so I joined a collaboration. It was set in ancient Greece, a favourite historical setting of mine.

This is Myron, a particularly adorable priest. He has special abilities and gets on better with the satyrs and such than the humans. But he is a very nice fellow. He is actually gifted with immortality and looks younger than his 40+ years!

Unfortunately I never got to do much with Myron, as I waited around and eventually left that host altogether. Good riddance, really; it had gone to the dogs. But I do miss that collaboration. It was nice.

So, just so he won't be forgotten, here is Myron.

Jeri Febulatte, Macaron

Happy new year! I hope you have a great 2011.

Today, I have a very special piece that I did for Tsutsumi, creator of the brilliant space opera masterpiece Praying for Obsolescence.

You can read Praying for Obsolescence here. Please check it out today! It's a truly epic journey...and I mean that as in the true sense of the term.

The picture is entitled 'Jeri Febulatte, Macaron' which is a tribute to the song that inspired it, by tommy february6, 'tommy febulatte, macaron'.

It features Jeri, on the left, Bweep floating and emitting wuvbubbles, and Xandyr sipping a lovely drink that he's sure to share with Jeri!

Enjoy!
